Steven Strait: The Life and Career of the Sky High and The Expanse Star
Steven Strait
The actor and singer Steven Strait was born in New York City, USA, on 23rd March 1986. He was raised in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village by his parents, Jean and Richard Dyer Strait, and has Dutch and Italian roots.
After studying at Village Community School and Xavier High School, he began taking classes at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. Steven is known for starring in “Sky High”, and for his role in the science fiction series “The Expanse”.
Career
Steven began modelling for many magazines during his teenage years, working with the photographers Ellen von Unwerth, Herb Ritts and Bruce Weber amongst others.
Although at first he was forced into taking performing classes and acting lessons, he found a passion for acting after his first live performance, and decided to put modelling on the backburner to pursue a career in film and on television.
