Chiranjeet Chakraborty, whose real name is Deepak Chakraborty is an Indian Actor and Politician. His works are predominantly based in the Bengali film industry.

Chiranjeet gained popularity after starring in Anjan Choudhury's 1984 film, Shotru, even though he made his debut with the 1981 film, Sonay Sohaga, which was not a success. Chakraborty is also a member of the Legislative Assembly of the Government of Bengal and was a former MLA from the Barasat constituency of West Bengal from 2011 to 2016.
